Laura was absolutely fantastic in helping me find my perfect wedding dress... I called for an appointment and we talked about the kind of thing I wanted taking into account I'm getting married abroad and she listed to everything I wanted.

I'm a little bit mental and she really looked after me and my bridesmaids and has been really understanding, especially as I changed my mind just before ordering... My dress she has ordered for me is just perfect for me and I didn't want to take it off!

Any brides thinking of going somewhere else... don't do it! Because the range of dresses are beautiful, the staff are really friendly and I promise you will leave with your 'The One' wedding dress. Thank you sooooooo much Laura!

My experience at After Dark was fantastic!!!

Being an organised bride I had spent hours looking at dresses on line and I thought I knew exactly what I wanted, however after trying on a few I had picked out it I realised that actually maybe I had got it wrong. Laura and her team then asked if they could pick some that they thought would suit me. After trying on two they had selected the second one was perfect. These ladies really know their stuff and I felt wonderful.

I had been concerned not being a stick thin bride and wasn't really looking forward to wedding dress shopping, however Laura and her team made me feel so comfortable and relaxed.

The changing rooms are nice and private so you don't feel like you on display for everyone to watch and because the shop is located on the second floor it’s even better no shoppers peering through the window at you :-)

Laura was more than happy for me to keep going back to try the dress on and check it matched my other accessories. This was a really relief as some other shops can get a bit funny about it and it is important for a bride to ensure everything is just perfect.

When it came to the dress fitting/ measuring the hem line etc they were brilliant and really took onboard my requests.

I would (and have) recommend After Dark Bridal to anyone getting married. Laura is so friendly and there is more to her than just a shop owner she genuinely cares about her brides and knew my name from day one which I think demonstrated outstanding customer service.

Laura and the lovely ladies at After Dark were helpful from the moment I walked in. I thought I knew what I wanted and boldly told Laura I'd read you have to try on 10 dresses before you find 'the one'. She said it will probably take 5 and suggested I try on different kinds as well as the kind I thought I was after - number 5 it was. Not what I thought I was going to pick but completely stunning. On the day, the dress , the fit, everything was just perfect I couldn't have planned it better and Laura was always at the end of the phone or email for any queries - you couldn't ask for a better, more personal service.

I just wanted to take the time to say a huge thank you for my wonderful wedding dress. It was every thing I had dreamt of and I felt like a princess!

However, it was not just the dress itself that I wanted to say thank you for, but for the overall experience, from the moment I first spoke to you on the phone about Maggie Sottero dresses you were extremely helpful and not dismissive, as I had experienced in other shops! Indeed, your support continued right up to the moment I left the house on the actual wedding day! You saved the day, talking my Mum and friend though 'fastening' the dress - there was a moment of panic when I could hear them discussing that they could still see my knickers!

We had a wonderful wedding day; it was everything we had hoped and so much more! We loved every minute of it and have some excellent memories to treasure! I had so many comments about my dress and I did not want to take it off!

I managed to find my perfect dress for a great price! I rang trying to track down a Maggie Sottero I had been after for a while, and although had quite a journey to After Dark to buy it it was worth it!

I was never rushed, the alterations were done brilliantly and the hoop, tiara and veil were a fantastic match and price.

Lots of dresses to browse through, not too crowded and the shop has a great feel to it.

Easy to park and over all a great experience! I will miss not visiting the shop now I am married. Highly recommend!

From the moment I walked into the bridal shop and until I left with my dress in hand Laura was fantastic. She was a confidante, friend and councillor!

I am a pessimistic type and chose my dress with help of my mother and Laura. I did have many occasions thinking I had the wrong dress, but as soon as it was altered and fitted me I couldn't take the smile off my face. It was definitely "the one".

I was 6 weeks pregnant when Laura helped me choose my dress and 23 weeks pregnant when I got married. So Laura had a difficult task as having no idea what size I would be by the time of the wedding!

Well where do I start, maybe a day back in December 2010. I had been looking for a particular dress for about 4 months and nearly gave up until I found After Dark.

I made my appointment and went along wehre I was greeted by this beautiful blonde YOUNG! girl who I later would know as Lizzie (Laura's Cousin) then another smiley beautiful blonde Laura and then another glamourous lady called Lynda.

My experience at After Dark was wonderful as past bridal shops hadn't treated me so well, as of course this should be a memorable experience. They had the particular dress and after a fitting and more worrying that Laura would of noticed that I had forgotten to shave my legs..... the dress was ordered. Some and most people will never know in life about how their influences and experiences affect others...... Laura made me feel very special and not only did I find my dress but an extremely talented woman who takes great pride in the special job she does.

From the moment i stepped into After Dark they have been amazing! I thought I knew what I wanted, but when Laura handed me a dress to try on that i had completely over looked, it hit me.. "this is the one!!" I would never have found my perfect dress if it wasn't for Laura knowing exactly what dress would suit my figure! The service and advice I received can only be described as the same as you would receive from a friend, it was honest and thoughtful and you felt that you were in safe hands with the most important dress of your life!

I found After dark Brides from searching the website and I arranged a VIP visit on a Sunday where my mum and my Aunty could have tea and cakes and we had the whole shop to ourselves - which was like a dream come true.

Laura was absolutely brilliant, honest, her opinion was not only valued by me but also my bridesmaids.
