Congratulations! you have your beautiful shiny ring, your wedding venue planned and its now time to grab the girls and find the gown, why not book in for an Ivory Indulgence appointment.

I am delighted to be able to offer our new private Ivory Indulgence appointments. A 2.5 hour private appointment with me Laura, the owner of The Ivory Wardrobe; with 17 years of experience I will guide you and your guests through the styles, shapes, fabrics and colours of bridal gowns. We will talk through your dream wedding styling and take into account venue, timescales and budgets.

We will indulge in all things bridal whilst enjoying a glass of bubbly and a delicious cake.

Ivory Indulgence appointments are chargeable at a fee of 50 (payable in advance) for you and up to 4 guests* However, if you find the gown and order on the day that fee is credited from your order.

These appointments are offered on Saturdays at 10am and 2.30pm as well as all weekday mornings.

(*extra guests can be accommodated an extra charge of 5 per head)

The Ivory Wardrobe welcomes new label | 1/9/18

I am super excited to share the news that The Ivory Wardrobe are now stockist of the lovely Catherine Parry label.

Here is a little bit about the label:

The first Catherine Parry bridal collection was launched in 2014, however our story began almost a century ago.

Based near Cardiff in South Wales, the Catherine Parry bridal label is inspired by and named after Catherine Matilda Parry.

Affectionately known as Kitty to her friends and family, Catherine was born in Caernarfon, Wales, in 1922 and grew up during during the wartime years, eventually marrying Ernest in 1947. During her teenage years she fell in love with the Hollywood movies and the stars of the silver screen, in particular Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn, had a deep influence on Catherines sophisticated sense of style.

Her granddaughter Maria Ryan, designer and co-founder of the Catherine Parry bridal label, fondly remembers sitting on Nana Kittys knee watching the Hollywood classics. Many of the cuts and design details that you will find on the wedding gowns she creates are inspired by the fashions of the 1940s and 50s and every bridal gown that carries the Catherine Parry name is a fitting tribute to the original Catherine Parry.
